FINALLY HOME!! CRUNCH BACK AT WOLSTEIN!

For the first time since the 2025 finals, the Cleveland Crunch will officially play a regular season game at the CSU Wolstein Center for the first time since 2005. This will be 20 years in the making and a big homecoming for the Crunch. To say the fan base is excited is a understatement.  The Crunch have had much success since their return in 2021. Winning two Championships and making the Playoffs every year since. The Crunch hosted and appeared in the 2025 final that were held at the Wolstein Center and for the first time in 20 years we got a taste of nostalgia.

This Saturday the Crunch return home and it will be against a familiar foe, The Chicago Mustangs. The Crunch and Mustangs are no strangers to each other with the Rivalry spanning two different leagues(MLIS and MASL). The Crunch have dominated the Rivalry since it began in 2021, But the Mustangs are not afraid of a good scrap on the pitch. This is the First of two meetings between both teams with the rubber match coming again in march in Chicago. 

We spoke with Crunch newcomer Landon Kuhn about his thoughts on opening their first home game at the Wolstein center.    

             "It's going to be AWESOME to be at home and in that big of an arena and seeing my friends and family all there! I am pretty sure it's going to be the same way for all the guys, especially the vets like Mike(derezic), Pewu, and Dave(Jordan). So i'm excited for this to happen and I can't wait!"

Believe us when we tell you that the atmosphere in Wolstein Saturday night will be electric and loud. The Mustangs will be looking to spoil the home opener, However don't expect that to happen as the Crunch boasts one of the top offenses in MLIS so far in the young season. The Crunch have the Best differential (+27) in the league and there probably won't be a drop off of that anytime soon so expect that differential to increase Saturday night.
